Acceptable Set-Up Sites
Outdoor / Private
Inflatables are most easily accommodated, set up and secured in a lawn or grassy area. Inflatables can also be set up in parking lots, driveways, or other hard surface areas. Jump to Fun will not, however, set up its inflatables on gravel driveways.
Sites with slopes can be accommodated depending on the grade of the slope. The entrance to the inflatables is then placed at the top of the slope. Your installer may request an alternate location if they find the slope is too steep, so please have one in mind. The safety of the children is most important when selecting a set up area.
Outdoor / Public
Parks are also acceptable sites for setting up inflatables if the appropriate approval is received by renters. Renters need to verify in advance whether the parks have any limitations on inflatables and should make sure power is available and within 75 feet of the proposed location. As with any other site that does not have an outlet available, a Power Generator can also be provided (at an additional charge) to run the blower for the inflatable(s).
Indoor
Inflatables can be set up in gymnasiums, gatherings halls, churches, or any other area that can accommodate their height (average 16 feet).
Required Space for Set Up
The inflatables measure 15 feet by 15 feet. An additional 2 feet (or more) around the perimeter is necessary for guests to move about, requiring a total area for the inflatable of no less than 19 feet by 19 feet. Most inflatables can be accommodated in a standard two-car driveway. Inflatables require an area free of low hanging wires and tree branches, and at least 17 feet vertical clearance.
Required Space for Delivery
A standard walk through gate is all that is required to deliver an inflatable to a set-up site. Inflatables are delivered rolled up, using a standard hand truck (dolly). Any space through which a person can comfortably walk will also accommodate an inflatable.
Electricity
A 50 to 100 foot extension cord is used with each inflatable, requiring an outlet near the set up area. The blower for the inflatable runs continuously and uses approximately $0.14 of electricity per hour. A Power Generator can also be provided (at an additional charge) to run the blower for the inflatable if an outlet is not available. NOTE: All blowers and wiring are safety checked before delivery.
